Dixie Dog is committed to growing our local economy. Our treats’ primary ingredient is local craft breweries’ spent grain, a healthy by-product. The beer brewing process begins by adding hot water to malt, which can include barley, wheat, rye and oats among other grains. These grains are then removed from the process, as they are spent. Dixie Dog blends these nutritious grains full of protein and fiber with whole wheat flour, all-natural peanut butter and locally-sourced eggs. We create healthy, all-natural treats for your pup!

I have a 12 year old miniature schnauzer named Pepper. We call her Picky Pepper because she turns her nose up to just about everything. She shows no interest in any dog treat even Milk-Bone.
Enter Dixie Dog Treats! She loves the Peanut Butter Grain treat so much she actually jumped up to get it out of my hand. That was truly incredible. The Honey Basil Chicken and other Chicken varieties she keeps coming back for more until I have to show her the empty bag for her to believe me I really don’t have anymore.
